Nevergreen Pools was founded to create a pool service company built on clear standards, honest communication, and long-term responsibility. The founder remains closely involved in day-to-day operations, helping shape training, service processes, and accountability across the team. His role is focused on maintaining consistency, supporting the technicians, and ensuring the company continues to operate with the same hands-on standards it was built on.
Kyle Peter Founder
Kyle started Nevergreen Pools after 12 years in the outdoor industry as a sales professional as well as traveling the world as an elite multi-sport athlete. After the purchase of his first home with his wife Katie, Kyle fell in love with perfecting that clear sparkly blue water for his guests to enjoy. Kyle started his own pool service to bring the same level of care he gives to his own pool to those of the community around where he lives. He prides himself in customer service, communication, and going the extra mile to provide a clean and healthy backyard haven for his customers. If Kyle isn’t in your backyard or sending you an email, he is spending time with his daughter Olivia and wife Katie.
Our service technicians are the backbone of daily operations. Each technician follows defined service procedures to ensure pools are cleaned, balanced and inspected consistently. The focus is on reliability, not rushed visits or guesswork.
Justin Cardin Lead Service Technician
Justin joined team Nevergreen after 8 years of working with In-N-Out. He has been servicing pools since May of 2021 and still has a lot of fun doing it. His favorite pastimes include video games, hiking, off-roading, and hanging out with his dogs at home.
Gavin Kinzel Service Technician
Hailing from Cameron Park, Gavin is a car enthusiast who loves working on his vehicle. He’s intrigued by the inner workings of the pool industry and shares his home with two adorable cats.
Forest Romero Service Technician
Forest Romero was born and raised in Brentwood, California. He spent six years living in Oregon, but returned to Cameron Park to be closer to family. Before joining Nevergreen Pools, Forest worked driving 26-foot box trucks, delivering refrigerated freight. Seeking a better work-life balance and more time at home, Forest transitioned to the pool service industry. A passionate car enthusiast, Forest enjoys driving his Subaru in the snow, skating, hiking, and playing video games. Although recently experiencing the loss of a beloved dog, Moose, Forest now enjoys the company of a 1-year-old Russian Blue cat named Rick.
Jeremy Mullins Service Technician
Originally from Southern California, Jeremy moved to the Sacramento area in 1995. Jeremy joined Nevergreen Pools in 2023 during his search for a more active job and that would also help him build a new skill set. Outside of his professional life Jeremy is a musician who has been playing drums in various bands in the area for nearly 20 years.
Jeff Hollon Service Technician
Jeff is a dedicated pool technician with a strong commitment to providing excellent service. With a keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach, Jeff is passionate about maintaining and pools to the highest standards. Outside of work, Jeff is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys both playing soccer and watching hockey. A devoted Dallas Stars fan, he never misses a chance to cheer on his favorite team. On weekends, Jeff likes to unwind by playing video games and spending quality time with friends. With a blend of technical expertise and a personable nature, Jeff brings professionalism and a positive attitude to every job, making him a valued member of our team.
Josh Strong Service Technician
Josh, from Puyallup, Washington, shares his love for sports and nature with his family. With over 25 years in the pool industry, he brings expertise and dedication to his work. Outside of his career, he enjoys watching sports and hiking. At home, he’s accompanied by his loyal cat.
Aiden Conlee Service Technician
Aiden lives in Placerville but was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Union Mine High School. In his free time he likes to hang out with his friends and spend time at the lake. Aiden has 3 dogs, chickens, and rabbits. The goats are no longer around.
Jake Sisson Service Technician
Jake Sisson, a native of Roseville, thrives on podcasts, fresh air, and finding balance—whether it’s in spirituality, pool chemistry, or life in general. He has a deep appreciation for a well-made fruit pie and brings a unique blend of humor and creativity to his work. Jake dreams of starting his own reality TV show—a “Pimp My Ride”-style series for swimming pools—where he could transform ordinary backyards into extraordinary aquatic spaces. That said, he is content to follow wherever life takes him, so long as sandwiches are part of the journey.
Tim Halverson Service Technician
Born and raised in Sacramento, Tim brings a strong work ethic and a hands-on approach to everything he does—whether it’s fine-tuning a swimming pool, rebuilding a car, or upgrading his backyard. He takes pride in his work, always ready to lend a hand and tackle any challenge, rain or shine. No matter the task, Tim is all about getting things done and having fun along the way.
Kaleb Dority Service Technician
Kaleb grew up in El Dorado Hills and graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 2023. An active guy with a love for the outdoors, Kaleb spends his weekends hiking, snowboarding in Tahoe, skateboarding, and hanging out at local rivers and lakes. When he’s not outside, you’ll probably find him at the gym—he’s a self-proclaimed gym rat with a serious passion for fitness. Before joining the pool industry, Kaleb worked for a year as an HVAC technician with a local company, gaining hands-on experience in technical service. Now, he’s looking forward to bringing that work ethic into a more structured role with a steady schedule. Kaleb has three cats at home and brings a friendly, dependable presence to every stop on his route.
Brandon Thurston Service Technician
Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Brandon moved to Sacramento in 2021 with his wife to be closer to family and pursue new opportunities. That same year, he began his career in the pool industry and quickly found a passion for the relaxed, hands-on work and the chance to connect with customers—and their pets. Brandon enjoys exploring California’s hiking trails and mountain ranges in his free time, as well as spending quiet evenings playing games with his wife. Friendly, dependable, and animal-loving, he’s a valued part of our service team.
Nate O’Shaughnessy Service Technician
Nate is a classical pianist and composer with a strong interest in philosophy. When he’s not working on new compositions or studying, he enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and working with horses. He lives with his wife, kids, two German Shepherds, two horses, and a cat—and often visits the Santa Cruz Mountains for inspiration and quiet.
Chase Curtis Service Technician
Chase was born in Florida and got into pool service because of his love for nature and spending time outdoors. Outside of work, he enjoys attending music festivals and gaming. At home, he hangs out with his two pets—Simba, his dog, and Ziggy, his snake.
Aaron Felix Service Technician
Aaron brings 7 years of hands-on experience as a handyman to the Nevergreen team, ensuring every pool he services gets meticulous care. When he’s not keeping pools sparkling, you’ll likely find him hitting the trails on his mountain bike, enjoying the thrill of the outdoors. Aaron’s attention to detail and passion for problem-solving make him a trusted part of the Nevergreen family.
Aidan Sheble Service Technician
Born and raised in El Dorado, Aidan Sheble brings a strong sense of dedication and curiosity to everything he does. Currently pursuing a degree in Electronic Systems Technology, Aidan is passionate about applying his growing technical skills to contribute meaningfully to the company’s mission. Outside of school and work, Aidan enjoys spending his downtime playing guitar and exploring music. At home, he shares his life with his micro labradoodle, Mabel, and his cat, Seamus, who keep things lively and entertaining.
Trent Hartman Service Technician
Trent Hartman entered the swimming pool industry in 1998, beginning his career with a company that specialized in gas chlorine systems. Through hands-on experience, he quickly developed the technical expertise and operational knowledge needed to successfully run his own pool service business. In 2013, Trent stepped away from the pool industry, but it didn’t take long to realize that skilled pool professionals are always needed, no matter where life takes you. After recently moving back to California, Trent found his way to Nevergreen, where he brings decades of experience, problem-solving ability, and a deep understanding of pool care to the team.

keoni Tamagri Repair Manager
Keoni is our resident Hawaiian that was born in Minnesota and has never been to Hawaii! His daily routine is waking up and actually enjoying his job. Keoni received his CPO certification in 2021 while servicing pools for Nevergreen. Although he enjoyed servicing pools, he wanted to challenge himself and became one of our repair technicians. When Keoni is not in your backyard fixing your pool pump, he is at home taking care of his goats and spending time with his daughter!
Nathan Geyer Repair Technician
Nate is a Fair Oaks native and proud graduate of Bella Vista High School. He began his journey in the pool industry in 2020, quickly advancing from a weekly service technician to a repair technician, thanks to his strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Before joining Nevergreen Pools, Nate honed his expertise as part of the warranty team at Premier Pools and Spas. He joined Nevergreen to expand his opportunities and serve his local community with dedication. When it comes to pool repairs, Nate enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and solving each unique problem, ensuring your pool is worry-free and ready to enjoy. Outside of work, Nate prefers to relax at home with his sons, catching up on TV shows, or playing his favorite first-person shooter video games. A self-proclaimed picky eater, Nate’s favorite foods are fries and chips with salsa—just don’t try to serve him a steak!

Ashley Bateman Customer Service Representative
Ashley Bateman, a Sacramento native, brings a decade of experience in the pool industry to our team. Before diving into his career in pool maintenance and repair, Ashley spent time fishing in the wilds of Alaska, where he developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and challenges of the great outdoors. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys an active lifestyle, often found riding motorcycles or hitting the trails on his BMX bike. He takes pride in being a devoted father to his son, Jax, who inspires him daily. Ashley’s dedication, adventurous spirit, and family values make him an invaluable asset to our team and a trusted professional for our customers.
Connor Carnahan Sales & Marketing Lead
Connor Carnahan is from Placerville, California. When not at work, he spends much of his time with family, attending church and playing the drums. He is currently studying business with the aim of contributing to the company’s growth and success. A passionate musician, he enjoys volunteering at church and spending time outdoors. Whether snowboarding, camping or fishing, he is always seeking adventure in the great outdoors. With a natural inclination towards water and leisure spaces, he found joy in learning about pools and decided to pursue this interest professionally. At home, he shares life with Hazley, a lively black Labradoodle.
Vince Clenuar Customer Service Representative
From the Philippines, Vince brings a fresh perspective and an innate curiosity to the team. When he’s not working, he enjoys getting lost in a good book, staying active at the gym, or spending quality time with his family. One of Vince’s favorite ways to unwind is by caring for his aquarium, home to a vibrant collection of German blue rams and cherry barbs. Watching his aquatic companions provides him with a sense of calm and stress relief. Passionate about learning and building connections, Vince is dedicated to growing, collaborating, and making a meaningful impact as part of the team.
Robert Samudio Service Manager
Robert was born and raised in Fair Oaks, CA and is definitely a water person. He loves swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing with his son at Carmel Beach. He was a stay at home dad for many years and didn’t plan on becoming a pool tech, but when he found Nevergreen Pools, he knew this was a family that he wanted to be a part of. He finds it very gratifying solving the puzzles each pool presents because he thinks of your pool as his. His favorite part is meeting, playing, and getting to know all of the dogs during his routes!
Our Operations team provides the behind-the-scenes structure that keeps everything running efficiently. They manage inventory and warehouse logistics, oversee fleet coordination, maintain administrative systems, and support the internal processes that allow our technicians to focus on quality workmanship in the field. By maintaining strong systems and operational consistency, this team ensures we deliver dependable, well-managed service to every pool, every time.
Riley Nielson
Riley is a Sacramento native, and avid hunter/fisherman who loves all things outdoors. In 2021 he decided to switch from building swimming pools to maintaining them. He worked his way up and became the service manager for Nevergreen. He is here to help existing customers and new customers receive the best possible care for their pools.
Riley Gray
Riley is a Placerville native who joined team Nevergreen in 2022. As a former aquarium technician his work would take him all over northern California, and he wanted a career that would keep him closer to home. Riley shares that it is surprising how similar the water chemistry is between fish tanks and swimming pools! When he’s not servicing your pool Riley enjoys playing video games, brewing beer, spending time with his dog, and taking care of his own aquarium.
